Loh Lik Peng, owner of Wanderlust, located in Singapore's Little India (and New Majestic), thinks the best hotels are playgrounds for adults and took on four different design firms to each create a floor. The lobby has a glam industrial vibe and upstairs, the 29 guest rooms run the gamut from colorful, to arty black-and-white minimalism, to one-of-a-kind duplex loft rooms. The second floor rooms are each defined by a vivid and uniform color used on every surface- from walls and floors to furnishings and even the tiles in their open bathrooms. Song titles like 'Red Light' and 'Yellow Submarine' reflecting the mood (and hue) of the rooms are written on the walls in neon lights.
