What better place to road trip in style than the French Riviera. Frequented by the rich and famous since the 18th century, the azure coastline has a lot to offer for lovers of all things luxe, and the best way to see it is by road. Starting in Nice, the cultural capital of the Riviera, wind your way along the coast passing towns and vistas that have inspired some of the most famous painters in the world. In Cagnes-sur-Mur, visit Domaine des Collettes, the idyllic estate where Renoir painted some of his famous landscapes, then head to Antibes and the seaside resort of Juan-les-Pins where the expansive estates of the extremely rich enjoy mesmerising views of the Mediterranean. From here it's on to Cannes and St. Tropez, with their high-end boutiques and celebrity-sprinkled beaches.
